The American Osteopathic Association held its annual Osteopathic Medical Conference and Exposition in Anaheim, California, Sept. 17-20, 2016. At the Academy’s program, which ran Sept. 17-20, attendees learned about emerging concepts in the field of manual medicine, including medical imaging and musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment, as they relate to the disciplines of neuromusculoskeletal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics and sports medicine. The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Case Log System for osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine (ONMM) is now available through the Accreditation Data System (ADS). Residents may begin logging cases in the system as soon as their program has pre-accreditation status. Residents in programs with Initial Accreditation are required to use the system. Read more →

National Government Services (NGS) has announced that they will continue appropriately paying for OMT along with an office visit as part of the newly revised LCD!
