The objective of the AAO research grant program is to promote osteopathic research and provide the finances to initiate osteopathic research projects. The intent is proof-of-concept publications or preliminary data to support funding from larger organizations (American Osteopathic Association [AOA], National Institutes of Health, etc.) to conduct more extensive studies and clinical trials.
