The Baltimore Convention Center
Hosted by the American Osteopathic Association, OMED is an annual medical conference bringing together thousands of osteopathic physicians, medical students and other health professionals from across the country.
Let the AAO inspire the DO within you. The AAO’s 2019 program focused on the current evidence for osteopathic practice and principles and incorporating osteopathic manipulative treatments into daily clinical practice. The program was approachable for all skill levels through the lens of many different specialties. The AAO partnered with several specialty colleges to provide high-quality, evidence-based lectures and hands-on instruction from clinicians with clinical experience in internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, family medicine, sports medicine, and addiction medicine. Joint sessions were held with the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP), the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), the AOA Bureau on Scientific Affairs and Public Health (BSAPH), the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine (AOASM), American College of Osteopathic Neurologists and Psychiatrists and the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine (AOAAM).
